The Town of Pelham is requesting the contracting services of a qualified contractor to supply equipment and operators to remove snow from municipal parking lots, street-side parking areas, streets, and sidewalks for the snow seasons in 2025 (Q4) , 2026, and 2027 with the option to extend the contract through 2028 and 2029. However, the contract will be required to hold pricing from 2027 to extend the agreement for the additional years. Work is anticipated to commence during the first week of November and end during the first week of March for each snow season. The contract will be established by the Director of Public Works or their designate. The Town of Pelham has a sidewalk network of the current lengths and widths that are required to be cleared as part of this contract: a network of 1.2m wide sidewalks, with a combined length of 40km; a network of 1.5m wide sidewalks, with a combined length of 26km; a network of 1.6m wide sidewalks, with a combined length of 1km; a network of 2.5m wide sidewalks, with a combined length of 0.10km; and a network of 3.6m wide sidewalks, with a combined length of 1km. The Contractor shall fully complete a separate specification sheet (see Form of Tender) for each piece of equipment involved in this contract. The Town of Pelham is requesting the minimum amount of equipment for sidewalks of at least 4 sidewalk snowplows.
