Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an open invitation by the Municipality of the District of Chester (the “Municipality” or “MODC”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of Winter Sidewalk Maintenance to the Communities of Western Shore, Chester Basin, New Ross, Chester, and Hubbards for the Department of Infrastructure & Operations. The objective is to retain contractors (more than one (1) contractor may be selected) for a two (2) year period (optional three (3) year) to provide winter maintenance of the Municipal sidewalks as further described in the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). This RFQ is being conducted pursuant to MODC Procurement Policy (P-04).

All hard copy bidders must provide one completed hard copy bid in a sealed envelope, prominently marked MODC-T-2025-066 Winter Sidewalk Maintenance to the receiver noted on the cover page of this RFQ prior to 3:00 PM on December 3, 2025.
The Municipality will not accept bids submitted by facsimile transfer or bids by email.
