- Township of Severn-s Public Works department is looking to hire a contractor for
the supply of equipment and labour for winter sand street sweeping within the
Township of Severn. There are approximately 127 kilometers of two lane roads to
be cleaned of winter sand and debris on an annual basis. Disposal of swept
materials will be provided by Township supplied and operated dump trucks, or
designated disposal areas will be provided within reasonable distance of the roads
being swept. Water required for the operation will be provided by the Township.
This RFQ is for a single year contract, with initial sweeping occurring in the spring /
early summer and minor “call back” work occurring as needed. - Documents:
