- The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand invites you to provide a quote for winter salt for the winter season of 2025-2026. We require a cost per tonne to supply Winter Highway Bulk Coarse De-icing Road Salt to be hauled, delivered and loaded at our Centreton, Grafton & Roseneath Domes. The price per tonne will include all taxes material, labour, equipment and costs. All salt delivered to our dome must be weighed (volume calculations will not be accepted). The Centreton, Grafton & Roseneath Domes will require salt on an as needed basis for the 2025/2026 season. The salt must be supplied as required and may need to be provided throughout the winter depending on the season. Upon formal request by the township, the successful bidder shall supply the requested salt within three (3) business days.
