Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Municipality of the District of Chester (the “Municipality”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of Winter Road Maintenance for the Mill Cove area. The objective is to retain one (1) contractor for a two (2) year period, with an optional one (1) year extension, to provide plowing and salting of the Municipal roads as further described in the RFQ Particulars (Section 40 Appendix D) the “Deliverables”. This RFQ is being conducted pursuant to MODC Procurement Policy (P-04).
Please note that for this bid opportunity, bidders may choose to submit bids in one of two ways:

All hard copy bidders must provide one completed hard copy bid in a sealed envelope, prominently marked MODC-T-2025-067 Winter Road Maintenance to the Mill Cove Area to the receiver noted on the cover page of this RFQ prior to 3:00 PM on December 3, 2025.
The Municipality will not accept bids submitted by facsimile transfer or bids by email.
