• What we need
  Severn-s Public Works Department is seeking Expressions of Interest from contractors capable of providing four (4) dedicated winter control plow units on standby and in service compensation model during afternoon operations for a potential six (6) to nine (9) year term. This RFEOI is intended only to gather market capability and interest. This is not a tender, quote request, or solicitation of bids, and no contract will result from responses.

  Severn is seeking Respondents who demonstrate proven experience in municipal or commercial winter control operations, supported by reliable plow equipment that meets specified age and condition requirements. Respondents must have the capacity to commit to afternoon and overnight coverage for the full Winter Season and the ability to consistently meet all mandatory service and performance commitments. Financial efficiency is an important consideration for this potential initiative, and Severn anticipates that the overall order‑of‑magnitude cost for these services would be less than $500,000 per Winter Season.
