Description:
This project includes the replacement of the existing windows at 14 locations along the north and west sides of the building. This includes the replacement of associated steel lintels, concrete sills, interior finishes, and roller shades. The window replacement at each of the north facing classroom windows includes for the removal of insulated stud wall infills and sheet metal cladding to re-establish the original rough openings and window sizes at these locations. This project also includes the replacement of the existing doors at two locations along the west side of the building. This includes the replacement of the associated door hardware, interior finishes and the repair of terrazzo flooring. In addition, the project also requires the replacement of existing hose bibs at three locations, the replacement of existing soffits at two locations and masonry repairs, including but not limited to, the repair of deteriorated expansion joints, repointing deteriorated mortar joints and replacing deteriorated bricks.
