Tender are invited for WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING CREW HOISTING
Project Description : In an ongoing effort to improve wildfire suppression efforts, the Province is requesting information relating to the utilization of Hoists from aircrafts for the purpose of inserting wildland firefighters into remote locations, where landing is not a feasible option. On average, the Province actions approximately 1,500 wildfires annually. Information received in response to this document should include applicable training, procedures and limitations.
