Overview of the Work/Service Required
This contract is for a Wildfire Rehabilitation specialist to complete data collection, prescription preparation, field implementation, equipment supervision, and grass seeding on rehabilitation projects within the Kootenay Lake Fire Zone.
Specific requirements for each phase of this contract can be found in the Tender Documents (Schedule A). In more complex or higher risk cases the Contractor will be required to incorporate specialist's input, e.g., terrain stability (Geo Technical Engineer). Services will be provided on an "as and when" basis.
Sealed tenders for a Wildfire Rehabilitation Specialist for the Kootenay Lake Fire Zone will be received by the Ministry of Forests, Selkirk Forest District 845 Columbia Avenue Castlegar, B.C., V1N 1H3, no later than 2:00 PM local time, July 18, 2022, at which time all tenders will be opened in public.
Please note that services are to be provided on an "as and when" basis as directed by the Ministry representative.
Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.
