Description:
The Province, as represented by the Minister of Forests, through BC Wildfire Services (“BCWS”), invites Responses from Respondents to provide catering, janitorial and laundry services in the wildfire response and Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery (“MPRR”) contexts, related to both wildfire management and all natural hazards (collectively, “Wildfire and All Natural Hazards Support Services”). The BCWS is the Province of BC-s primary wildfire emergency response organization, which operates year-round to deliver its mandate for wildfire management. BCWS also delivers expertise and services in response to other natural hazard emergencies. Cultivating relationships year-round with our contractors will enable a more resilient response to wildfire and other natural hazard management in BC. We have learned to rely on our contractor-s diverse expertise and capacity to support our Ministry and BCWS vision. In order to meet the demands of preparedness, readiness and response and achieve the primary objective of safety, the Province will require services to provide meals and maintain appropriate hygiene for responders on a year-round basis.
