- Description:
- The project will consist generally of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the supply of all necessary plant, labour, equipment, and materials to facilitate the dredging and transporting of approximately 9,100m3 of material to increase the current width from 90m to 125m while achieving a navigational depth of a minimum 10.1m. Dredging will be completed in the vicinity of the Navigational Channel - Chain Rock, with dredged material disposed of in deeper water approximately 275m northeast of the dredging area. Plans, specifications, and tender documents can be obtained online through MERX, or by e-mail only through this e-mail address (lguy@sjpa-apsj.com) upon payment of a $50.00 (HST included) non-refundable fee. Tenders must be delivered to the Port Authority Office, located at 1 Water Street prior to the specified deadline. E-mailed bids will not be accepted. Tenderers are advised that only those contractors who have obtained the tender documents through the noted e-mail address or from MERX will be eligible to bid on this project.
