Project Description : Lakeland College maintains two campuses - in Vermilion, and Lloydminster, Alberta. Between them the two campuses support 2,300 full and part time students. Lakeland College began its life in 1913 as an agricultural school, and it has grown to encompass such programs as Fire Training, Trades, and Crop Technology, among others.WHT MEAD Animal Sciences Building (MEAD Building):The WHT Mead Animal Sciences Building is an existing facility that needs to be renovated and expanded to provide functional program space to accommodate growing class sizes and program upgrades to be more in line of the current and future needs. The Agricultural Sciences Program is the main program within the MEAD Building.Scope of Services:The prime consultant (Architect) is required to refine the functional program and update the same at each design stage to allow the college stakeholders to easily identify items which must be omitted, added or adjusted to meet stakeholder requirements and the target project budget and schedule. This project is to provide a solution within an existing building with an expansion for a better alignment and use of the space.The Prime Consultant will be required to coordinate the work and include any documents or reports from the Owner procured Hazardous Materials consultant, the prime consultant will not be responsible for engaging or...
