Project Description : The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite Construction Management firms (Proponents), with a successful track record of providing Construction Management for the delivery of teaching and research facilities in higher education settings, to submit a proposal for the provision of Construction Management at Risk Services to Lakeland College for the MEAD Building.Lakeland College maintains two campuses - Vermilion, and Lloydminster, Alberta. Between them the two campuses support approximately 2,300 full and part time learner equivalent students. Lakeland College began its life in 1913 as an agricultural school, and it has grown to encompass such programs as Environmental Sciences, Fire Training, Trades, and Human Services, among others.The WHT Mead Animal Sciences Building is an existing facility that needs to be renovated and expanded to provide functional program space to accommodate growing class sizes and program upgrades to be more in line of the current and future needs. The Agricultural Sciences Program is the main program within the MEAD Building.Flexible design intent and construction are critical factors for this project with the ability to adapt as stakeholder-s work through the process.The successful Proponent will be required to develop an implementation schedule for the MEAD Building Project and coordina... - Documents :
