Description : The objective of this project is to construct and calibrate a numerical model of groundwater flow that will be used to define a capture zone, which will be compared to the current wellhead protection area. The capture zone will have times of travel defined and will identify risks to the aquifer within those areas. Risks to aquifer contamination will also be assessed within the capture zone, considering current and future land uses, and with a particular focus on stormwater management within the areas. In parallel with the capture zone update, a groundwater under the direct influence of surface water assessment is to be carried out utilizing the model.
