OPTIONAL SITE MEETING: A site meeting will be held on March 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm local time at enter 252 Knight Road, Gibsons, BC. Proponents need to RSVP by March 21, 2025 to purchasing@scrd.ca if no RSVPs are received the site meeting may be cancelled. The scope of work consists of, but is not limitedto, the following major work activities: 1) Well, Well Pump and Well Motor Works: a) Based on the results in the Professional Geoscientist's hydrogeological Report, which will be provided to the Contractor prior to the Work commencing, the Contractor will supply, install, integrate and commission thenew 150mm diameter stainless steel submersible vertical multistage pump. The following model or similar is anticipated: Franklin pump and motor assembly, Model 300 SSI 50 F66 1464 or an approved equivalent. b) New pump and motor size and set depth to be verified by the Contractor in combination withthe Contractor's Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) based upon the contents of the Geoscientist's well redevelopment report from Phase 1 of this project. Verification of the recommended pump and motor replacement to be reviewed by the Regional District's Engineer of Record. c) Services required to becompleted by a registered well driller or pump installer in British Columbia and a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or approved equivalent: i) Complete a 48-hour constant rate pump draw down performance test and interpret the results to demonstrate the performance of the new pump andmoto...
