    Synopsis: This RFB is to establish a standing offer Agreement with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) for the supply and delivery of weather station equipment. SPSA provides instruments for the Saskatchewan weather observing site. The instruments required as part of this RFB will include, data-loggers, precise measuring weather instruments, reliable communication, solar panels with batteries, and platform for the instruments including anemometers mast and the cables and connectors for those items.
    Additional Information:
    The GOS has been using the current Forest Technology Systems (FTS) remote automated fire weather station equipment for the past 20 years.There are 76 remote weather stations.This is an integrated system, and substitute products will not be compatible with the existing network.All components use specialty cables, unique military style connectors or SDI connectors, and specific mounts. The temperature and humidity gauge (THS) and tipping bucket rain gauge (TBRG), and all other sensors, use the military quick connector. The GOS requires the fire weather station equipment be compatible with the existing equipment that is currently being used throughout the province of Saskatchewan. To ensure compatibility with existing equipment the only acceptable products are those listed in the Appendix B.
