Description : The project focus is the stair tower structural steel framing and composite floor deck and concrete topping deterioration investigation and repairs. General scope of work is outlined below as per Schedule A prepared by EXP. Detailed scope to be provided during the RFP stage along with the Schedule A: Supply all labour, equipment and material for the repair and reinforcing of the existing steel columns, beams, bracings and stair stringers at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th levels of Stair Towers 3 and 4 Scrape, wire brush, grind and sandblast to remove all corrosion, rust, dirt, concrete and spalling steel to expose the base metal at the columns, beams, bracings and stair stringers All exposed steel columns, beams, bracings and stair stringers are to be visually inspected and tested by the Consultant for the extent of corrosion and section loss before steel framing is repaired and reinforced Provide labour, material and equipment for the reinforcing of steel columns, beams, bracings, stair stringers and supporting framing as determined by recommendations of the visual inspections and ultrasonic testing Apply zinc-rich primer and epoxy paint finish colour to closely match the existing The project focus is the stair tower structural steel framing and composite floor deck and concrete topping deteriora... - Documents:
