Description:
The City of Brockville will be rehabilitating the municipalities Overhead Water Tower. The structure is a Brockville Elevated Multi-leg Water Tower Coating Replacement, located at the intersection of Morgan Ln and Chaffey St., in Brockville, Ontario.
Exterior Surfaces of the multi-leg water tower require the following: Exterior coated services will be full removal by abrasive blasting to achieve a surface cleanliness of SSPC-SP 10 (Near White Blast) with an angular blast profile of 2.0 to 3.0 mils c/w full containment Class 1a c/w 40,000 CFM dust collector or greater depending on level of dust inside the containment. This project requires full negative air to ensure no spent abrasive or dust escapes the containment system. This project has high levels of Lead and the project will be treaded as a Lead Abatement Project meeting the requirements under SSPC Guide 6 under SSPC C3 Training and Guidelines. A non-mandatory site meeting has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday January 30th, 2025, at the site, for a site visit. Bidders are encouraged to attend to obtain a thorough understanding of the site and work.
