Description:
Replacement of water supply valves (curb stops) along Arthur Street, between South Street and William Street in Elmira.
The work includes the replacement of existing curb stops within the work area, including new service boxes, and connection rods, as well as the inclusion of sacrificial anodes and temporary restoration of the area with cold patch asphalt or concrete. This work is taking place ahead of the Region of Waterloo-s resurfacing of Arthur Street, which is anticipated to commence in late June 2026. Please be advised that the 24 month warranty period for this assignment will still hold, but that the final curb stop restoration will be completed by others as part of the Arthur Street resurfacing and will be full concrete sidewalk.
