Description: 5.0 Terms of Reference 5.1 Background the City Requires Water Picking Services to Assist with Operational Challenges Related to Freezing of Underground Water Infrastructure (I.E. Watermains, Service Lines, Etc.) Throughout the Year; However, Moreso during the Winter Months, as the City-S Public Works and Engineering Department is Challenged with Freezing of the Linear Water Infrastructure. these Challenges Result in a Disruption to Water Services until the Affected Location has been Thawed by Water Picking (Blasting). 5.2 Scope of Services the Following Scope of Services Apply: - Provide all Material, Labour, Equipment and Supervision to Perform Water Picking Services for Underground Water Infrastructure, such as Underground Watermains and Water Service Lines. - Provide all Necessary Materials, Labour, Equipment and Supervision to Ensure Health and Safety for the Project, when Performing Work in the Field. this Includes, but is not Limited To, Signage, Barricades, Fencing, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, Etc. the Proponent Must Ensure that all Requirements of the Nunavut Occupational Health and Safety Regulations are Satisfied when Performing Work in the Field under the Contract. - Services Apply to both Regular Work Hours, Afterhours, Weekends and Holidays. 5.3 Description of Job Classifications A) Superintendent/ Project Manager - Responsible for the Overall Management of the Project. - Serve as the Main Point of Contact with the City-S Contract Manager...
