Description:
The City of Burnaby (“City”) is requesting Proposals from qualified and capable Proponents for the supply and delivery of water metering technology. The City envisions a two phased implementation, as detailed herein. Proponents are encouraged to propose a phased work plan for the iterative deployment of the Solution and system integrations that aligns with this intent. The issuance of these document does not confer any licence or grant for any other purpose.
The City intends to award a Contract to the successful Proponent in accordance with the attached terms, conditions, and requirements for an initial two (2) year team, with options for an additional three (3) each, one (1) year contract extensions at the City-s sole discretion for a total possible five (5) year term.
Furthermore, the City may require the supply, delivery and installation of additional water meter technology, at the sole discretion of the City. The City may decide, at its own discretion, to add the scope of work for the Solution for water metering technology at a later point to the Contract. In such case, the City reserves the right to enter into negotiations with the Contractor.
