Description : The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) invites interested contractors to bid on the water and sewer fixtures and fittings project. The project involves the replacement of fittings and fixtures on the water and sanitary sewer system in Whistler due to age and suspected corrosive attack. Description of works: Sewer: · Replacement of 6 - 300mmØ bends on sanitary sewer force main · Supply and installation of 1 - air release valve on sanitary force main Water: · Replacement/relocation of 3 - hydrant assemblies · Replacement of approximately 19 - gate valves ranging from 150mmØ to 300mmØ · Replacement of various tees, crosses, bends and reducers
