Project Description : The intent of the Request for Proposal is to obtain the proposals of Waste Removal and Recycling Providers for the purpose of waste collection services and recycling stream management and collection. MRU has a vision to partner with a successful and proactive company to reduce current waste levels and transition to a more eco-friendly model. There is a desire to achieve certain waste reduction goals but at the same time budget realities must be considered as we advance in meeting targets.A full scope of services is detailed in Appendix āDā - Scope of Services. Core components include Waste Collection, Paper Cardboard, Mixed Recycle (Single Stream), and Composting / Organics Recycling. The intention is to incorporate a single stream recycling program, utilizing the expertise and experience of the provider to partner with MRU to achieve our Waste Management Goals. Proponents must demonstrate the expertise to assist us in advancing and achieving our Waste Management Goals.
