Synopsis: The Town of Maidstone receives its water from a well near the Village of Waseca at SE 32-47-24 W3. The Town is requesting proposals for the construction of a second well at this site. The desired outcomes of this project are redundancy and sufficient flow to operate both trains of the Town-s reverse osmosis unit in the future. This project includes the following components: Supply and installation of a water well, pump with variable frequency drive (VFD), pitless adaptor, and pipeline. Connect the well to the existing system. This project is to be completed before November 1, 2022.
Additional Information:
To meet the project objectives, the Town requires the following: Supply and installation of an 8-- water well with steel casing. Stainless steel is to be used wherever required. The location of the new well must provide optimal operational efficiency while utilizing the existing monitoring well. Supply and installation an appropriate pump with variable frequency drive (VFD) and pitless adaptor. Supply and installation of a 6--pipeline approximately 150 meters in length which connects the new well to an existing control building. PVC or HDPE pipeline material will be considered.
