Tender are invited for Vulcan County Training Tower Upgrades
Project Description : Vulcan County Emergency Services utilizes a 3-story fire training center outfitted with Kidde fire trainers T500 LFTS indoor fire trainer. This trainer is a live-fire training system used to conduct training of firefighters and emergency rescue personnel in live-fire situations. The trainer is a system that generates gas-fueled fires under the control of a computer system and an instructor.The trainer simulates Class A,B,C type fires. The fires are generated in fire training burn rooms. Each fireplace can be and will be monitored from either the operator's station via on-screen displays or from a local hand-held control pendant via illuminated switch indicators.Vulcan County is seeking quotes from a qualified company for upgrades to its- Kidde Fire Trainers T-500 LFTS Indoor fire trainer. This project is expected to occur in phases, spanning over two years 2023-2024. The quotes must be for the design and installation of equipment that flawlessly integrates into the KFT system already in place.
