Description:
The Town of Devon (the “Town”) is seeking proposals from individuals or companies to implement options for parking solutions in Voyageur Park along with a cost to implement (“the Work”). The Town would like to address the overpopulated parking areas (Schedule C) within Voyageur Park in the summer months as concerns increase regarding safety, capacity, and limited resources with many visitors coming from out of Town. 1. Provide options for parking solutions to address safety, capacity, and resources concerns in Voyageur Park due to increased traffic during the summer months. 2. Understanding of the existing challenges the Town faces including no access to power, limited space, limited funding, limited human resources to manage traffic flow and insufficient parking, particularly on weekends. 3. Inclusion of costs to implement proposed parking solutions. 4. Inclusion of schedule for both short term and long-term solutions to implement proposed parking solutions. 5. Consider the impacts to the Voyageur Park Improvement Plan for long term plan. 6. Consider the impacts to residents and businesses. 7. Collaboration with Town staff from several departments to ensure that solutions do not have negative impacts on operations. 8. The Proponent must be flexible to meet the needs and schedules of participating Town staff. 9. The ability to meet all the requirements of the RFP on an ongoing basis.
