• The Village of Stirling is requesting submissions for Qualification of Contractors to bid on the:
  VILLAGE OF STIRLING
  REGIONAL WATER SUPPLY UPGRADES
  Major work items for this contract will include the following general items (approximation):
  1. Treated Water Reservoir
  Structural repair of treated water reservoir
  Interior and exterior walls
  Hollow core panel repair or replacement
  Permanent ladder installed at reservoir hatch
  Pilasters
  Cap and seal existing inlet
  Diffuser and submerged piping supply and installation
  New reservoir inlet
  Connection to existing reservoir outlet
  2. Metering Station
  Pre-cast concrete metering station vault and top slab
  Wood frame (5 m x 7m approx.) metering station building
  Process mechanical piping supply and installation
  Stainless steel process piping
  Process control valves and instrumentation for reservoir fill and discharge
  Regional potable water measurement and monitoring
  Building mechanical, electrical and instrumentation
  Civil site works, including:
  Connection to regional potable water pipeline
  Connection distribution main
  Gravel restoration
  Grading, landscaping, grass restoration
  3. Modifications to Existing Infrastructure
  Relocate existing rural pump to the new metering station. Tie into rural pipeline
  Demolition of existing control structures
  The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Village of Stirling to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid for the construction of the above-noted project.
  Through this request for qualifications the Village of Stirling seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project.
