Description : The Village of Port Alice is seeking quotes to refurbish our three water wells. The pumps were last serviced fifteen years ago or longer but have been functioning okay. The Village currently is not required to treat the well water. Included in the quote: - 3 new pumps and motors - Replace the well pipe with stainless steel - Install a 1 ¼ inch sounder tube down the well casing for a future depth probe - Camera/ Video inspect the well casings - Repairs to casings if required - Replace the above ground piping in the well houses including backflow preventers and flanges. - Install flow meters (the Village has these in stock) A site visit is recommended before quoting.
