- : The services provided through the contract will include the processing of video to produce transportation study reports. Video processing analytics will be able the count and classify vehicles, count pedestrians and cyclists, and conduct vehicle speed studies. The processing will be 98-100% accurate and will include access to a web-based portal for the upload and retrieval of data. The reports must be in a format that aligns with current city data analysis processes and databases. Processing services must be able to process roadway intersections, capture volumes midway between intersections, as well on sidewalks, pathways and separated bike lanes. Video data is expected to be stored for two (2) years and the reports stored for one (1) year, or as directed by City of Calgary data retention policies. The City of Calgary anticipates processing between 400-500 locations per year.
