The main Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD) at Victoria General Hospital (VGH) is highly constrained. While VGH has grown considerably in terms of size and medical programs over the years, the MDRD has undergone only one significant space expansion in 2005 since the hospital was originally constructed in 1983.
