Description:
The Town of Smiths Falls is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for the provision of Snow Plowing and Snow Removal Services at the Smiths Falls Via Rail Station. The selected contractor will be required to provide these services for a contract term of six (6) years.The services will cover the Smiths Falls Via Rail Station located at:Address:Smiths Falls Via Rail Station1 Station StreetSmiths Falls, ON K7A 5B8All bids should comply with the specifications and requirements outlined in this RFQ document. The successful contractor will be expected to deliver snow clearing services as detailed in the scope of work.
The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all labour, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform snow and ice removal services seven days a week, including statutory holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays, during VIA Rail's business hours.The specific areas requiring snow and ice removal, along with on-site storage, are outlined in the site plans provided in Appendix "C".Detailed snow removal specifications and requirements can be found in the Scope of Work and Specifications included as Appendix "A".
