Call For Tenders Tender Number -- RQQ-2024-ENGB-849 Description -- Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Vendor of Record (VOR) for Site Civil Engineering Services The objective of this Request to Qualify and Quote (RQQ) is to solicit proposals from Proponents to establish a Vendor of Record (“VOR”) for the provision of technical engineering services on an emergent basis over a term of two (2) years.The requirements are more particularly described in Scope of Work of this Request Document. The Facilities (Stations) Architectural and Engineering (FAE) business unit is responsible for the quality assurance of Station assets and providing technical expertise to capital projects. The Civil/Site team within FAE is specifically responsible for civil and site assets.This includes developing and updating standards and conducting quality assurance reviews across all projects stages to ensure adherence to Metrolinx design standards.The team also provides guidance and technical expertise on various projects and existing civil assets by responding to requests for information, performing root cause analysis on asset issues, and evaluating deviations from established standards.The FAE-Civil/Site team also implements lessons learned from resolving project issues, capture the latest industry best practices, and implement RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) process for effective asset management.Additionally, the FAE-Civil/Site team collaborates with other Metrolin...
