  Detailed_Description : Request for Bid (RFB) for a Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement with qualified vendors to decommission abandoned oil and gas wells in the province of Ontario. Bidders should carefully review Attachment 1 - RFB Definitions in the Terms and Conditions of this RFB.
  Scope of Work : Decommission abandoned oil and gas wells in the province of Ontario, which may include plugging of abandoned wells and site reclamation and rehabilitation in Ontario. The anticipated start date of the contract is Spring 2026. The term of the Master Agreement will be for four (4) years, with an option to extend for an additional 1-year period. The second stage of the contracting process, the Request for Services (RFS), will be issued only to those Vendors that have entered into a Master Agreement with the Ministry. The RFS will set out the specific details for the Services for a Project. In some circumstances, where it is advantageous and appropriate, the ministry will group a number of wells into a project.
