- RFP Package is available on Bids and Tenders https://epcor.bidsandtenders.caThe intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).EPCOR is looking for an automated system which would require minimum involvement by EPCOR personnel and provide a solution that addresses different levels of security, tracking and reporting for the Vendor Managed Inventory (hereafter “VMI”) Program. A list of the types of items that may be required can be found in Schedule “D” Attachment 1 Basket of Goods. The successful Proponent will be required to provide bar coding/other automated system or any other type of similar technology that allows converting the Owner-s warehouses into Vendor Managed Inventory Sites (hereafter “VMI Site”) in a manner that each VMI Site is capable of:• Providing controlled access to authorised EPCOR employees using their EPCOR ID cards that should capture cost center and/or work order number associated to that employee. The list of authorized EPCOR employees requiring access to the VMI Site will be provided to the Supplier by EPCOR after the Contract is executed and updated through the contract term. • Recording of inventory transactions to those authorised EPCOR employees.• Providing a solution that addresses different levels of security, tracking and reporting requirements.• Generating on demand reports that are critical to pro...
