  • St. John Hospital, Asset Code NHASJH is located at 3255 Hospital Road, Vanderhoof, British Columbia.

    The facility is provided with a supervised Fire Alarm System which includes an EDWARDS QUICKSTART EST main control panel, annunciator panel at the main entrance, pull stations at all exit doors, audible alarms, smoke detectors, duct smoke detectors, conduit, wire and connections. The system has become aged and needs to be replaced with a new Fire Alarm system. The consultant is to design the new Fire Alarm system to be code compliant, which includes assessing overall placement, and quantity. Current information on non-code complaint features of the existing system includes pull station heights, lack of for visual alarms, and addressable speakers.

    Proponents are asked to submit a fixed fee with a breakdown of each phase, for preparation of the following:

    1. Construction package, Tender Package and Contract Administration support; and,
    2. As-Built Drawings and relevant models.

    Proponents are asked to submit, separate from the fixed fee, the amount of site visits that will be required for this project. Submission of the Building Permit application, including all required schedules and drawings, is the responsibility of the successful proponent. Costs for preparation are to be included in the fixed fee, the application fee will be paid for by Northern Health Authority (NHA).
