Summary Details:
The Township of Spallumcheen (Spallumcheen) is commencing design and construction of a new regional community wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system with the primary goal of recovering water for agricultural irrigation reuse. As part of the project development, Value Planning/Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VP/VA/VE) will be incorporated into the project design and constructability reviews. Spallumcheen is inviting Pre-qualification Submissions from qualified Certified Value Specialist (CVS) consultants for consideration to facilitate a VP/VA/VE review, provide a team of relevant specialists to review the approach, designs, constructability, and cost estimates, and to provide a VP/VA/VE report on the NOWRP. The VP/VA/VE approach and documentation should generally follow SAVE International Value Standard Methodology and comply with all federal and provincial requirements (APPENDIX C).
The intention of Spallumcheen is to pre-qualify up to three consultants for submission of proposals to complete the assignment. Prequalification review and selection of companies invited to submit proposals will be completed within four business days of the closing date for the RFQ.
