  • The University of Toronto is seeking to shortlist up to five architectural practices for professional services related to the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) Campus Heart & Indigenous Build (CH/IB) project. This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage process; shortlisted Respondentswill be invited to submit a response to a subsequent RFP. In issuing this RFSQ document, the University is seeking to shortlist architectural practices that can act as either the sole provider of full professional architectural services or the lead design architectural practice that, if successful,would enter into a joint-venture or association with an architect-of-record practice. The University is looking for profiles of joint-venture architects for those firms that wish to enter a partnership, but the primary focus of the evaluation will be on the lead design practice.The Consultant team isexpected to include either in-house or through strategic partnerships, Indigenous team member(s) with demonstrated experience and expertise in Indigenous projects. These individuals will play a lead role in the project design and support to the UTM Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII) in Indigenouscommunity consultation and engagement.
