Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for General Contractor - Upper Canada Park - Site Work - Parking lot and Amenity Expansion, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The project includes the construction of the second phase of park improvements at Upper Canada Park providing the infrastructure and servicing needed to support the park-s baseball complex and active recreation facilities. The infrastructure improvements include an expanded parking lot, washroom facilities, servicing upgrades including stormwater management, parking lot and park lighting, pathway and accessibility improvements and operations and maintenance equipment storage building.
The successful contractor will be required to sign a CCDC 2 - 2020 agreement with the City-s Supplementary General Conditions at time of award.
The City will only consider quotations received from Contractors who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
