Description:
IntroductionPMG Technologies is planning to replace the KHS light system of the crash laboratory of Transport Canada with LED lights. PMG Technologies is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Center (MVTC) located in Blainville, Québec.PMG requires a high-performance lighting system for high-speed video capture of automotive safety testing. To achieve this goal, an efficient, flicker-free light source is requiredEquipment RequiredUp to eighty (80) LED luminaries to replace the sled high-performance KHS HMI lighting of the crash area. The proposed LED lights should generate similar or better brightness than the existing ones from KHS manufacturer.The existing system is composed of 64 HMI lights (High-S-Light 4000) of 4000 watts (boost to 8000 Watts).The light source must provide multi-directional illumination in the daylight spectrum while being compatible with modern video sensors. The lighting system should minimize the heat load of the test area.All electrical equipment installed in Quebec must comply with Canadian standards (CSA approved). The tenderer must deliver already certified electrical equipment. The table below lists the criteria to be met.
