Description:
.1 Work of this Contract comprises the replacement of the existing fire pump at the Government of Canada Building, located at 100 East White Hills Road, St. John's, NL, as further described below..2 Replace single electric fire pump with a duplex fire pump system complete with two fire pump controllers, jockey pump, jockey pump controller, and associated piping and valves..3 Provide new fire pump circuit breaker in main electrical service..4 Provide new emergency distribution board. .5 Provide new normal, emergency, and generator start electrical runs to main electrical room/generator room..6 Revise and certify fire alarm system with connections to new fire pump controllers and supervised valves..7 Phase work to allow existing fire pump system to remain fully operational until new system is ready to be installed.8. Provide temporary fire pumping services and/or fire watch of facility when fire pump system is down..9 Provide installation/static and functional testing commissioning services, integrated life safety testing, and operator training as indicated in the specifications and commissioning plan..10 Provide project closeout documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and equipment data forms as indicated.
