Description:
Notice is hereby given by the Metro Vancouver Regional District (“the Corporation”) of its intent to contract for one (1) year with Unit4 Software (Unit4) for Unit 4 ERP Maintenance and Support October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. This contract will have a total value $249,748.20 (exclusive of taxes).
The renewal contract will provide ongoing maintenance and support for the following components:
Unit4 ERP Core Modules
Financial Management
Procurement
Accounting
Integrations
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Reports to Report
Sales to Cash
Budget to Control.
Reporting and Analytics Tools - Including Unit4 reporting capabilities
System Updates and Patches - Regular releases to maintain performance and security
These services are essential to ensure the continued reliability, performance, and scalability of the Corporation-s financial management system. By maintaining these services, the Corporation can:

Support Business Continuity
Facilitate Integration
Support daily operations
Adapt to evolving needs
Minimize risk and disruption
A competitive procurement process was not initiated for this renewal due to the following considerations:
The Corporation went to the market via RFP 14-080 for services and entered into a contract with Unit 4 Software in 2015. Unit 4 Software was the lead Proponent offering the highest ranked proposal. The Corporation has used the software since 2018, following a significant implementation project. The system is fully integrated and continues to deliver value.Procuring and implementing a new system would require substantial resources across multiple departments (IT, Procurement, Finance, and Privacy and Information), resulting in high internal costs.The system integrates with various internal and external data sources and is actively being enhanced with new functionalities.Th...
