Description:
D2. SCOPE OF WORKD2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of building upgrades and siteimprovements of Tylehurst Lift Station.D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:(a) Structural and architectural upgrades,(b) Mechanical process and building services upgrades,(c) Supply and installation of wastewater pumping equipment,(d) Supply and installation of a standby natural gas generator,(e) Electrical upgrades,(f) Automation and instrumentation upgrades,(g) Civil and municipal services (outside of the station) upgrades,(h) Temporary by-pass pumping and manhole installation,(i) Excavation, Shoring and Backfill,(j) Site restoration and clean up, and(k) As per drawings and specifications.D2.3 The Contractor shall supply and install all materials and equipment shown on the constructiondrawings and specifications unless otherwise indicated as existing or supplied by others. Allmaterials and equipment shall be new.D2.4 The Contractor will demolish all materials and equipment shown on the demolition drawings andspecifications unless otherwise indicated to remain.D2.5 The following shall apply to the Services:(a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions;http://clkapps.winnipeg.ca/DMIS/DocExt/ViewDoc.asp?DocumentTypeId=2&DocId=5989(b) Universal Design Policyhttp://clkapps.winnipeg.ca/DMIS/DocExt/ViewDoc.asp?DocumentTypeId=2&DocId=3604
