Description:
On 04 October 2025, the City posted Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) 38424-99820-Q01 for the removal and disposal of OC Transpo buses, vehicles and assets (the "Equipment") for scrap metal, by weight, at several City of Ottawa OC Transpo sites and on other City properties with a closing date of 28 October 2025. No addenda were issued.The initial period of Pre-Qualification extended up to and including 04 December 2025. The pre-qualification may be extended for two (2) optional one (1) year terms, subject to satisfactory performance by the Vendor, and continued requirement by the City.This Extension No. 1 is to extend the Pre-Qualification for the Period 05 December 2025 to 04 December 2026.The RFPQ established an initial list of vendors eligible to participate in the Invitation to Quote ("ITQ") process as detailed in the RFPQ.As noted in the RFPQ, throughout the Period of Pre-Qualification, vendors will have the opportunity to be added to the eligible vendors list.This posting will serve to add new respondents to the eligible vendors list. Vendors already on the eligible vendors list do not need to submit a submission to this extension.
