Description:
The construction of a commemoration park that includes an entrance, driveway, parking lot, concrete plaza for art installation , and signage. All sitework, sculpture installations, signage, gravel road and parking lot, site furnishings, and landscaping, supply and installation of silt fence. NS Department of Public Works requirements in respect to safety requirements in the operation of equipment, public safety and haulage shall apply. All environmental requirements of materials on site and while in transport and erosion control on the site. All damage and required repair to existing road facilities, all cleaning, rerouting and undercutting in association with additional clearing and grubbing operations between the existing natural features to remain and the required work of this Contract to the satisfaction of the Consultant. There will be a non-mandatory site visit on Monday June 16th at 10am. Although the site visit in nonmandatory, it is highly recommended that bidder's attend. The site has restricted access, and this will be the bidders' only opportunity to walk the site prior to construction. All bidders will be responsible to understand the site conditions. Any misunderstanding due to the bidder not attending is their responsibility.
