- The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering requires a Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Triple Quadrupole (LC-MS/QQQ) System for trace quantification of organic chemicals (micropollutants, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), pesticides, cyanotoxins) in environmental matrices (sediment, suspended solids, biota, natural waters) and engineered treatment systems (drinking water and wastewater). The instrument will be installed and operated in a water research laboratory in Environmental Engineering. Options for certified pre-owned mass spectrometry (Triple Quadrupole) systems that are factory/manufacturer refurbished by specialists to “like-new” conditions will be considered (refer to clause 2.13 on page 6). A Nitrogen generator is optional.
