Description:
The Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure (MOTI) is looking to retain the services of an Equity (Gender-Based Analysis, Indigenous Gender-Based Analysis, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) subject matter expert (SME) on an “As and When Requested” basis. The successful Contractor will assist in the development of Gender-Based Analysis (GBA+) and Indigenous Gender-Based Analysis (IGBA+) tools, best practices and strategies, facilitate workshops, training and information sessions, develop communication materials, and support the creation and measure of objectives. They would act as a SME on Equity for Ministry initiatives as requested, and other duties as required with a specific lens on GBA+, IGBA+ and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEIB). The successful Contractor will support MOTI in establishing equity as a principle of how we plan, design, deliver, operate, and procure transportation infrastructure. This Contract term will be for a two (2) year period. At the discretion of the Ministry and subject to available appropriation, the initial Contract term may be extended for an additional period of not greater than one (1) year.
