Description:
Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Region is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a turnkey transit mobile fare payment system (referred to as the “System” or “system”) that will serve as a complement to the existing electronic fare management system. The customer mobile application (the “App”) will provide Grand River Transit customers a convenient and efficient way to purchase and use their transit fares. Beyond the customer app, the complete solution must encompass additional supporting software to effectively manage and maintain the functionality of this system.
Proposals will be accepted for the design, development, testing, delivery, installation, licenses, training, support and maintenance, equipment, and system integration as required for the System (referred to collectively as the “Work” or “Project” or “project” or “Services” or “services” or “Supply”).
