Description:
This RFT is to acquire a Contractor to provide contractual services for the complete installation of in road concrete traffic calming structures in the City of Waterloo. The in road concrete traffic calming structures consist of the following:
Lourdes Avenue (Westmount Road and Alexandra Avenue) Two-lane local road with a posted speed limit of 40 km/hInstall the 1-2-1 design as shown in Appendix 1. Total of 5 speed humps: Between #233/235 Lourdes Street, Between #253 Lourdes Street and #49 Melbourne Crescent on Lourdes Street, Between #264/268 Lourdes Street, and Between #276/278 Lourdes Street. Bluevale Street (Harvard Place and Mayfield AvenueTwo-lane minor collector street with a posted speed limit of 40 km/hInstall the 2-3-2 design shown in Appendix 1. Total of 5 speed humps: In front of #20 Mayfield Avenue on Bluevale Street, In front of #279 Bluevale Street, In front of #285 Bluevale Street, Between #301 and 305 Bluevale Street and #214 Harvard Road along Bluevale Street North. Provisional: Bluevale Street (Mayfield Avenue to Neilson Avenue)Work will include removal, restoration and supply of all labour, equipment and material necessary for the installations of the in road concrete speed hump structures.
