Description:
The Town of Slave Lake, on behalf of Lesser Slave Regional Fire Services, is issuing this notice of intent to purchase a new ladder truck for the Fire Department. While the typical lead time for delivery of such units is two to three years, Fort Garry Firetrucks, a supplier, has confirmed they can deliver a unit that meets our specifications by August 1, 2025. However, to secure this delivery, we must confirm the order within 15 days. Given this time constraint, we are moving forward with a sole-source procurement process to secure the Fire Ladder Truck.The Spec of the unit:•Delivery on or before August 01, 2025•100' Midmount Platform•Meet or Exceed NFPA 1901•Tandem Drive Axels•Dual Master Streams•Rated 2000 USGPM Pump•400 USG Water Tank•1000lbs tip load when dry/500lbs tip load when wet•LED Warning Lights•Body Colour: RedIf your firm believes it can provide a unit meeting our specifications with delivery by August 1, 2025, and wishes to participate in this process, please contact Deputy Fire Chief Michael Bissell at Michael.Bissell@slavelake.ca.Responses must be received no later than October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time.
