Description:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Purchase of firm and competitively-priced natural gas Supply from a qualified Energy Provider, henceforth referred to as the Bidder.And, the Prequalification Of Bidders for future natural gas transactions. Only those Bidders designated as being in good financial standing and prequalified will be invited to bid on the Client-s requirements.The period for requirements will be 5 (five) years, with 2 (two) year optional extensions or a total of 7 (seven) years from the RFP issue date of March 3, 2025.From Proposals received, the Client will select Bidders which shall be the standard for future orders under the terms of each Contract awarded by virtue of this RFP throughout the Term. The current total annual normalized Natural gas usage by the Client is approximately 7,900 GJ/ year for 25 sites. Note that sites and volumes are subject to change prior to the firm bid round. All participating Bidders will receive an updated final list for firm bid round purposes.
